Contact: Sarah Ellis (414) 773-1062 ellissa@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us WAUWATOSA, WI — Wauwatosa Montessori School has been selected to receive the Nickelodeon Our World US Community Fund, supported by ChangeX. The school has been provisionally granted $3,000.00 to support the initiation of their project. With this funding, Principal Melissa Pallin and the newly-formed Wauwatosa Montessori School Recess Team aims to promote inclusivity, social emotional learning and positive play. Pallin and the Recess Team will collaborate with Playworks experts through training and coaching sessions to gain a deeper understanding of their role in fostering positive play, recognize the significance of play in child development, and learn various systems and games to incorporate during non-instructional periods.
