Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers is proposing state funding for a portion of two dental projects that would serve needy populations: A $28 million upgrade of Marquette University's dental school and a $9.6 million expansion of Children's Wisconsin's largest dental clinic. Evers' capital budget proposal includes $10.75 million for the project at Marquette University School of Dentistry and nearly $4.8 million for the Children's Wisconsin project. The governor included the funding in his proposed $3.8 billion capital budget for 2023-2025 that heads to the State Building Commission March 23 and then the Wisconsin Legislature's Joint Committee on Finance in April.
